How can I use the remaining ink in the cartridge of a brother dcp-7010 ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER?
The printer showed an alarm saying that I should replace the ink-cartridge. It stop printing. BUT there is still some ink / toner in the cartridge! Is there any way I can make the printer continue printing till the cartridge has REALLY run out of ink?
I know that in some models you can cover with a sticker some electronic elements, and this do the trick. But how can I continue using my Brother dcp-7010 in spite of the alarm? (please note that it is not only an alarm, the printer does not print - it's blocked).
No deal! Thats the problem with most single cartridge printers! Brother is the most notorious for this! Throw the piece of crap out and get something with three separate Color Cartridges and one black. Make sure they are huge! You also might wnat to consider not buying a multifunction unit! When something goes wrong (as it usually does) you have wasted money on its other features! I have been through many times and it was my foolishness that taught me these things! I now use a seperate printer and flatbed scanner!
